Tricholomopsis flavissima  — Tricholomataceae


Small to medium mushroom. Convex cap becoming broadly convex with depressed center, dry, some scales around center, yellow, with fibrils. Gills attached, becoming decurrent, light yellow maturing to orange-yellow, edges brighter. Stalk as tall as cap diameter, equal, pallid becoming similar to cap, thin partial veil present. Veil pallid. Saprophytic.
 
Habitat:
Scattered or groups, coniferous wood.

Scent: Faintly fragrant

Spores: White

Season: Autumn
