Clitocybe rivulosa — Sweat-producing Clitocybe — Tricholomataceae


Small to medium mushroom. Cap convex, soon flattening and then broadly depressed; surface usually with river-shaped lines (“rivulose”), dry, whitish-tan. Gills decurrent, white. Stalk slender, white, smooth, fused at the base with others. Saprophytic.
 
Habitat: In scattered groups, grass and at roadsides.

Scent: Not distinctive

Spores: White

Season: Autumn to early winter
