Russula crenulata  — Russulaceae


Small to medium mushroom. Convex cap, aging flat with shallow depression, white or somewhat yellowish, thin margin, downcurved when young, viscid when moist.  Gills close, attached, subgills present, white, not changing when bruised, serrated. Stalk as tall as cap diameter, white, equal to somewhat broadened near base, bald. Mycorrhizal.

Habitat: coniferous forest

Scent: Not distinctive

Spores: White

Season: Autumn
