Small mushroom. Convex cap, aging to broadly convex, glabrous, viscid, striate at wrinkled margin. Red to orange at margin, fading. Stalk tapering, fragile, viscid, undulating surface. Decurrent gills, attached to stalk, buff fading to pale yellow. Saprophytic.
 
Habitat: Scattered to large groups, conifers.

Scent: Not distinctive

Spores: White

Season: Autumn
