Small annual polypore. Fruiting body rounded initially becoming caplike; upper surface whitish, dry, minutely hairy to even bristly. Body tissue cottony, white. Pores small, white. Saprophytic.
 
 
Habitat:  Solitary or a few together, on well-rotted conifer logs. 

Scent: Not distinctive

Spores: White

Season: Autumn
