Dacrymyces chrysospermus —  Orange Jelly — Dacrymycetaceae


Small to medium jelly fungus. Fruiting body in small masses, vaguely shelf-like to brain-like, rather tough but gelatinous, viscid, bright orange-gold, with a pale attachment point. Stalk absent. Saprophytic.
 
 
Habitat:  In groups on decaying conifer logs and branches. 

Scent: Not distinctive

Spores: Yellowish

Season:
Autumn
